The first one that popped into my head is All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven which I did a post on earlier today

My ten year anniversary version of Looking For Alaska because it’s so golden and pretty

Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation?

Narnia! without any evil beings and oh that book converted me into a fan of Turkish Delight so

Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your winter vacation?

One?? hard choices hmm..Augustus Waters! I feel like he’d be up for any grand adventure with me and probably scare the enemies off with his charm

Book Review | Winter

Title: Winter

Author: Marissa Meyer

Series: The Lunar Chronicles #4

Genre: YA Fantasy

Synopsis Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.

Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend—the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.

Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters?

Guys I just finished this 800 page hunk of a book and oh so much happened and so much didn’t happen and I’m so satisfied, everything was as you can imagine perfect, yet it’s bitter-sweet because I DON’T WANT IT TO END. I’ve never done a GIF review before, so I’m going to attempt one today because I’m lost for words and visuals will do a great job of capturing my feels.

At first I was like, CINDER AND CREW GONNA INVADE LUNA AND TOTALLY DESTROY LEVANA

Then everything went wrong and I was all tense like..

Then a revolution was underway and hope started gathering in my heart..

Armies were being gathered, love was being proclaimed and an epic humiliation occurred resulting in me looking like..

The everything went really dark and gory and deep leaving me

And then chaos broke out where people turned against each other and AHH

Things slowly started to look better

And they all lived happily ever after…

Any true Lunar Chronicles fanatic would’ve already picked up Winter by now but those who haven’t even read the first book Cinder DO IT NOW! Uhm how often do you come across an awesome sci-fi fairy tale retelling?
