Bout of Books #12 WRAP UP

The week has whizzed by ending my first read-a-thon for 2015!

I can say I am quite satisfied as I didn’t set crazy unrealistic goals of reading like 10 000 pages or something and just enjoyed reading without worry for once.

Books Finished:

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas

Stay tuned for a review on this blog TOMORROW

Books nearly finished

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

Just one of those books you need to really take it all in. I have about 50 pages to go.

Total Pages Read: 608

That number is quite an achievement for moi because I do think I’m quite a slow reader. GO ME

What I plan on reading next:

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

About time I reckon.

How did your reading go? I hope you’re off to a great start!

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon 10.0 WRAP UP!

Time flies huh?

A week has already gone by meaning the read-a-thon has finished!

I had a great time challenging myself to read more than one book in a week (which is a first by the way). And I am so excited to say I actually did pretty good considering school and other hurdles.

My goals for this read-a-thon were:

1. Finish The One by Kierra Cass

2. Finish Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

3. Start A Feast For Crows by George R.R.Martin

And guess what?

I met all them goals oh yes you heard me!

I am going to review The One soon so look out for that and continue reading A Feast For Crows.

I genuinely enjoyed participating in my first ever read-a-thon and look forward to many more.

keep smiling sunshines 🙂

Bout of Books 10.0 Read-a-Thon update #1

Yay the read-a-thon has begun (well it began on monday but meh)!

I have been reading my ass off. When I’m not reading I’m well…reading. Except for when I’m watching TV or doing schoolwork ugh school 😦

On with the update!

1. I have finished The One! Yes, finally. There will be a review coming soon, possibly after the read-a-thon is over where I shall discuss my ever extensive thoughts.

3138132 2. Feast for Crows

I did start the book but got distracted so I hope to continue on with it soon.

Pages read: 75

3. Jane Eyre

This book just seems to drag on but we can do this right? right.

Pages read: 77

One book down, two to go. I haven’t really progressed very much with the other two mainly because of my tendency to focus on one book at a time. I hope to update soon with another book read.

Have a nice day Sunshines 🙂

Bout of Books 10.0 TBR

As my previous post mentioned, I am participating in the Bout of Book read-a-Thon. Below are some of the book I plan on reading during the Read-a-Thon.

1. The One by Kiera Cass

3138132This is the third book in The Selection series and it literally just came out and ahh I’m so excited!

2. Feast For Crows by George R.R.Martin

download  The fourth book in A Song of Ice and Fire series has me pumped. Now do know that I cannot possibly finish this book during the read-a-thon as it only goes for a week and this book is like 1000 pages long. But I do hope to get through a fine chunk of it, so good luck to me!

3. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

download (1) I have been meaning to read this book since the start of the year but never got around to it and enough with the excuses! I am going to engulf in this book finally. Yea!

There you have it. My Read-a-Thon list for Bout of Books 10.0. I do have quiet a mixture of books in there, interesting to see how it goes. If you are participating in the Read-a-Thon do let me know in the comments what you plan on reading!

Have a nice day!
