Cover to Cover | An Ember in The Ashes

To celebrate the release of A Torch Against the Night, the sequel to An Ember in the Ashes I thought it would be a good idea to look at all the beautiful editions around the world of An Ember in the Ashes

The English Edition

What strikes me the most about this cover is the gold writing which stands out very well against the background of ashes. The background itself is very interesting and it tells the story of the book, you’d know if you’ve read it

The other English Edition

This cover is beautiful too. The contrast of the fire against the black background really adds that extra touch, although I do believe this is somewhat of a minimalist cover.

The Swedish Edition

The colours in this cover are super attractive. This cover’s almost like a piece of art what with the blending and everything. Although I don’t know how accurately it fits the theme of the book

The Polish Edition

Now I think this cover protrays the theme of the book really well. We have fire, we have a sword to symbolise fighting and we have a dusty/ashy background. I also really like the font

The Slovenian Edition

The hands bound by fire are super intriguing and add a badass touch to this cover. Although I don’t particularly like the font, I’d definitely be drawn to this cover at the bookstore because of the feature art.

Which cover do you like the best?
